This rule of life was discovered through multiple mishaps with burgers on floors. It has been observed over multiple trials, that burgers have a force of gravity that allows it to always fall patty first. At no time will a burger ever fall bun side first. This is similar in nature to the falling cat rule, whereby the feline will always fall on its feet. A burger eater must never attempt to alter the course of burger trajectory as doing so will result in imminent chaos.
