Rule #6. The official 5 second rule of dropping food. 


This rule stipulates that in order for dropped food to be edible, it must be picked up within 5 seconds of touching the floor. Food that has touched the ground for over 5 seconds must be discarded of as it has become poisonous. 


Side clause #1: Dropped food is edible at all times if no one is watching


Side clause #2: A burger must never be picked up from the ground. 


Side clause #3: Food that is purchased after a night of alcohol consumption can be picked up and eaten in all circumstances as the alcohol will destroy the poison.
