Rule #8. The obesity of the dog is directly proportionate to the obesity of the owner.

This rule stipulates that the obesity of a pet dog is in direct proportion to the obesity of the owner. 


Note #1. If the owner wishes to lose weight, it is impossible unless the dog is also willing to lose weight. 


Note #2. A skinny owner will automatically increase in weight when the dog starts to become overweight. 


Note #3. Under no circumstance should the owner attempt to break the correlation between the two phenomenon. This will lead to chaos and severe sadness.
